Myross Rowing Club World Championships Hong Kong

Myross Rowing Club will once again be performing on an International Stage at the World Coastal Rowing Championships in Hong Kong at the end of October after securing qualification at the recent National Championships held in Ballygally.
Myross will be well represented in the Men’s Quad & Singles event. These members include: Richie Browne, Kevin & Kenneth McCarthy, James Lupton, Richard Hurley, Ciara Deasy & Carmel Connolly.
The trip is the opportunity of a lifetime & a chance to represent our club & country cannot be missed.
However, this comes at a cost.
Clubs & members must fund all expenses themselves some of which include: boat & oar rental, entry fees, flights, accommodation to mention a few.
We would be delighted if people would get behind us & support our small club from West Cork. We hold great pride in the sport of rowing & we have a long tradition of rowing in Union Hall down through the years. We can’t wait to put Myross Rowing Club on the world map again!
