Funding my final year at Iliff
Donation protected
As I enter my final year at the Iliff School of Theology I find myself excited when I consider what the future might hold. One of the reasons that I feel so much excitment is that Renee and I have been able to meet our goal of finshing school without accumulating any student debt. We believed, from the beginning, this was important because we understood that having student debt would impact my ability to follow my ministry to where it was leading vs. having to choose the position that would offer enough compensation to allow the repayment of student debt.
Iliff, as an institution, is proactive in encouraging students to avoid student debt. One of the ways they are achieving this goal is to offer programs that encourage family, friends, and local churches to partner with students. This is why I am here. Iliff will match, dollar for dollar, any money that I collect from those who support my ministry!
During the past three years I have existed on the unwaivering support that I have felt from my family, the folks at Highlands church of Denver, the amazing people that form the Sixth Avenue United Church of Christ, my trusted mentors and my friends. So it with a heart that is already overflowing with gratitude that I write these words.
There is one last important detail. Iliff will NOT match anonymous donations. I believe that this is in place because they do not allow me to give to this fund on my own behalf. If giving anonymously is what you would prefer that option is available through Highlands Church of Denver at:
http://highlandschurchdenver.org/give/
This one time gift must indicate that it is intended for the Iliff School of Theology and Susan Camp.
I appreciate you taking time to consider partnering with me as I finish this transformative journey and eagerly await the next one!
Much love,
Susan Camp
