Mzimuni High School Solar Project

We are a group of former students of Mzimuni High School in Zimbabwe. The school is located in a remote rural area without electricity supply. The only electricity source that it had was the solar system which is now broken due to ageing. This has greatly affected the delivery of IT lessons, Science classes, Evening studies and Boarding accommodation.

The school has also suffered a lot of infrastructural wear and tear without repairs due to lack of funding but we have managed to refurbish two classrooms which are now in use. We are now fundraising hoping to raise enough money to replace the broken inverter, charge controler and storage batteries(image above).
