McCoy Family

My name is Megan Brundrett and I am a former teaching partner of Tyler McCoy. I have known Tyler for a little under 4 years and have come to see him as that pesky brother who will push your buttons but would give his last meal to you if he knew you needed it. On the flip side, if you know Tyler he hates asking for a favor and hates accepting any charity.…he will probably call telling me to take it down after I post it. Needless to say I’m reaching out in the hopes to provide the McCoy family with a little relief financially.

So your probably asking why the go fund me…..well Tyler and his wife Ele are very passionate about their two kiddos and work tirelessly to provide them nothing but the best. However, over the past 6-8 months Tyler and his family have been put through a whirlwind of doctors visits and financial setbacks as Tyler was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer. If you know Tyler, he has countless lists that he uses to keep his life on a schedule and this diagnosis was NOT one of those things he accounted for on his list. His energy hit an all time low making getting out of bed impossible, depleting sick leave days, and greatly reducing their monthly income. All the doctors, labs, scans, travel, along with other expenses are unknown but I figured it can’t be easy to process and pay. I wish I had the means to provide them with what they need, but we all know cancer creates expenses beyond what any insurance covers. I’m hoping that these funds can help with medical bills and cover part of those paychecks the family is losing, bringing them a little piece of mind.

Please help me in blessing the McCoy family as Tyler has surgery tomorrow morning and begins his road to recovery.
