Help Dawn Chapman stay alive and well

Hi, my name is Dawn and I could really use some help. Here is my story: after 7 long years of taking care of my mom who had Alzheimer’s, it is now time to take care of myself. I have fibromyalgia, Chronic complex PTSD, and now a neoendocrine carcinoid tumor in my left lung. The most pressing thing is the tumor needs removed ASAP. Because of all the health and mental health issues , I am having a difficult time working and making ends meet. Now surgery is in the future and I will not be able to work for a month….hopefully no more.

I really don’t know how I’m going to survive the financial stuff, which is why I’m asking for help. I just want to be able to rest easy and heal as quickly as I can and know my utilities will stay on and the roof over my head will still be mine. I have never been this stressed out and I’ve had A LOT of stress in my life.

EDIT: Thank you to all who have donated, I am so grateful for you!! I didn’t meet the goal so the goal needed to be increased because the bills don’t stop and there have been a few set backs. Bottom line: I can’t have this surgery until I know I have enough money to pay the bills that will come in while I recover from the lobectomy. Recovery is 2-4 wks. As it stands now, I’m supposed to have surgery by mid March. There are many ducks to get in a row and the money ducks are the most stressful because working completely exhausts me. If I could work 40 hrs a week I would but my body simply won’t allow it. I’ve been acting like everything is going great because I want it to be real. The truth: I’ve never been this overwhelmed and I feel like giving up; especially after having setbacks (getting Covid, car problems, etc). I won’t give up (cue Rocky theme song)…..
