In Memory of Brandon Loges: Support His Loved Ones

My name's Callie, and I am creating this fund on behalf of myself, my coworkers at Northbound Smokehouse and Brewpub, and the community that surrounds us to help support the family of Brandon Loges, who we lost unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

Brandon started working at Northbound in 2018. We met 2 years later and hit it off immediately. I quickly realized that I was not special -- that Brandon hit it off with everybody. He was just "that guy." A hello the minute you walked in the door or sat down at the bar. A knock-knock joke at the end of a tough service. A surprising trivia master. A deep chat on the ride home. An expert burrito roller. The best back-of-house DJ. The one to always make sure you made it home safe. But most importantly, he was a son, a brother, a cousin, an uncle, and a wonderful friend to us all.

Northbound and the neighborhood that supports us is the epitome of community. The neighborhood "Cheers" bar, if you will. It's an everyday meeting place for many where we celebrate birthdays, cheer on our local sports teams (or the Packers in Brandon's case), and lend support when times get tough. Brandon helped to make this place what it is. And now we need to return the favor.

Please consider donating to Brandon's GoFundMe so we can help support his family through this absolutely devastating time. All proceeds will go to help with funeral and memorial costs. Any remaining donations will go to his immediate family so they can take the time they need to grieve.
