Paula’s Road to Recovery

Hi Friends,

This past Tuesday my Dear Lifelong Friend Paula Dwyer Porter was admitted to UCI Hospital in Orange CA. due to Covid complications. Paula has been very sick for almost 3 weeks and after numerous tests was Diagnosed with Guillian Barre Syndrome. This is a very rare condition that affects less than 20,000 yearly. This is a condition in which the immune system attacks the nerves causing ascending paralysis. Paula has a long road to recovery and at this time it is unknown how long her recovery will be.

Paula is one of the hardest working moms I know who provides for her three sons Noah 20, Nathan 18 and Nolan 16.

Paula needs nothing more now than to focus on her health and recovery and not stress financially. My goal for Paula is to try and alleviate some of the burden especially as a single mom so that she can focus on healing. Anything you can give would be a gift and so appreciated.
