Funeral Expenses

It is with great sadness that we announce that our angel Tessy passed away Tuesday (11/2) due to sickle-cell related complications.

 

Tessy was someone who literally gave to everyone. Although born with a limiting disease, Tessy never allowed Sickle Cell to dominate her life. She loved her family, her friends, & her community. To know her is to know that she was the life of the party while also being the person to make sure the party was running smoothly, even if it wasn’t necessarily her job to do so.

 

Our family and close friends are in complete shock by this loss and are still working to process this devastating news. There is still information developing in order to figure out what exactly happened, but our family is asking for your support through helping to gather expenses for her funeral. Details for the funeral are not fully developed yet, but we will be sure to share more details once they are finalized.

 

We want to say thank you in advance for all who have decided to give to our family. More importantly we want to say thank you to all of Tessy’s friends, co-workers, and family who have helped Tessy celebrate her life and live it to the absolute fullest.

 

*UPDATE* 

Thank you for helping us reach our initial goal of 10,000. After gathering more information we’ve learned the cost will be a bit more than anticipated. We are asking our community to help us reach out new goal of 15,000. Thank you again for all of your love and support during this difficult time.
