Kim's Fight Against Cancer

Kim Grassle is nothing short of a true warrior. She has been through countless health struggles throughout her life and is now facing yet another incredibly hard journey. In July 2013, Kim received devastating news: “you have cancer.” Stage 3b non small cell lung cancer. She fought a strong fight after being told she might not live more than 5 years, and found herself in remission after a gruesome 2-year battle. Being in remission is a huge blessing, but it’s still not easy. The medical bills have piled up over the years and the monitoring never stops. In February of 2019, Kim’s health took a turn for the worse. After a series of unusual pains and headaches, she requested a brain MRI. The results were both shocking and heart breaking. Her cancer has returned. This time, her lung cancer had metastasized to her brain and the doctors found 10 cancerous tumors. As you can imagine, this has put an unfathomable amount of stress and panic upon Kim and her family.   Her life has been flipped upside down yet again and she needs more love and more support than ever. With this new diagnosis, comes new treatments. More pain, more side effects, and more burdened stress. Not only are the expenses continuing to pile up, but she is extremely limited at work and is rapidly losing income. She is a loving wife and a mother of four children. Kim is still a full time mom as she is raising two teenage daughters at home. We ask that you help, in any way that you can. Every dollar counts and is such a blessing during this incredibly strenuous time of need. Prayers, thoughts, and support are encouraged. She will not and cannot fight this alone.
