Mother of two needs surgery

On April 2, 2023 Yosvy was rushed to the hospital where doctors conducted an emergency surgery to stabilize her vitals. Yosvy developed several ulcers in her digestive system that caused her to collapse. They removed 31.5 inches of intestinal tissue that was already in a necrosis state. In the same week, she had a second surgery and doctors warned the family that she had little chance of survival. Yet, God did a miracle in her life and He gave her the strength to survive the surgery.

Although she survived, her medical condition is critical. She is currently fed by tubes and has an open wound on her stomach. Yosvy had not seen her kids in over 3 months (they don’t allow children in her unit), until very recently for only one instance. She will remain in the hospital for the next several months and is scheduled to undergo a dangerous surgery in the upcoming months to rebuild her digestive system.

We are creating this fundraiser to help Yosvy cover some of her medical bills and therapy. Her insurance only covers the basic. She has been purchasing some of the medications and supplies out of pocket; which is causing financial stress for her. If the surgery is successful, Doctors predict a long recovery. This will prevent her from working and support her family during that time.

Yosvy lives in Mexico, and any funds collected will be sent directly to her. Yes, some relatives were contributing but the prolonged care is bringing financial limitations.
