A Hero's Legacy

As a young boy Elio dreamed of one day

becoming a police officer. With a heartfelt

calling to serve others, he made that dream

come true on September 13th, 2013.

Throughout his dedicated career at the

Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, he

received numerous commendations and

accolades. In 2023 he received Law

Enforcement Member of the Quarter for

both Quarter 1 and Quarter 3.

His genuine heart and compassion for

others was always felt over a shared cup of

Cuban coffee. Above all, he was a faithful

man of God and a devoted husband, father,

son, and grandfather.
