Battle of the Big Mouths

Racehorse aftercare is always so vitally important, but this issue is even more pertinent to me with Pompano closing soon and some horses looking for their second careers. I have also secured a private $1,000 donation from the Florida Amateur Driving Club, on top of the Go Fund Me listed here! 

 

Monday, April 4th, Gulfstream Park Track Announcer Pete Aiello will race Pompano Park Track Announcer Gabe Prewitt in a 5/8 mile harness race entitled the "Battle of the Big Mouths". Aside from lifetime bragging rights, the event is a showcase for the wonder and athleticism of the racehorse and the wonderful work done by Thoroughbred (and Standardbred) Aftercare groups who work tirelessly to highlight the exceptional skill sets of the racehorse and the many jobs they can excel at after their racing career is over.

 

Make sure you tune in on Monday April 4, and root for me to defend home turf and send Pete back south to Gulfstream with a bruised ego!
