Brandon's Journey
Brandon Brunet is so many things, to many people. He is a dedicated father of three sons, a loving husband to supportive wife Lorie. He is a hard-working son, a caring son-in-law, a brother, a favorite uncle, a former STMA baseball coach, a teammate, a neighbor, a co-worker, and a friend to many in our community.
In March of 2019 Brandon was diagnosed with Nodular Melanoma, a form of skin cancer. An initial surgery to remove the spot on his calf and monthly infusion treatments seemed to be successful until about October. Scans revealed additional growth and he has since undergone countless tests, multiple lengthy surgeries, aggressive rounds of infusions, immunotherapies, risky chemotherapy treatments and hospital stays. (with no visitors due to COVID-19.)
The dedication and care shown to him by Mayo Clinic doctors, surgeons, oncology and palliative care teams has left the Brunet family hope for the best possible plan of action for Brandon’s health going forward.
All donations from this gofund me will go directly to the Brunet family as Brandon has been unable to work for the past 6 months. This will help pay medical & recovery expenses, procedure costs not covered by insurance, out-of-work expenses for both Brandon & Lorie, transportation costs associated with dozens of Rochester appointments and any future needs for their family while trying to maintain as much normalcy as possible- with hopes for the brighter days on his journey ahead.
