We Love You Mary

This is my SISTER. Last week she was virtual teaching her 1st grade class, and they were naming my kitten and loving their teacher. This week she is in critical condition in ICU in a hospital in Boston, fighting for her life. Mary is literally fighting for her life right now, and would hate that I am setting up this page for her and her daughter, however the reality is a harsh one. She just started her teaching job and her health insurance would not be effective until November 1. Unfortunately she would need to work 20 hours per week to keep that insurance as well, so she doesn't qualify now. I am working with liasons at the hospital but she will definitely incur an outrageous pile of medical bills that no one should have to deal with while fighting to survive. Also I have learned that since she was a long term substitute, she got paid per day and last Monday was her last day of pay...period. She has nothing coming in to pay her rent, and handle her daily life that she worked so hard to get to. No one can access her bank account, we can just deposit into it so the automatic withdrawal of rent is covered, etc. The very worst part of all of this is that she told some people she didn't feel well, but had no health insurance so held off on going to the doctor. She even taught her class last Thursday (virtually), and that evening she was rushed to the ER. While Covid-19 is not technically to blame, I believe that if she was going into the school regularly, she would not be in this situation. She would not have made it to work, and would have had to see a dr. Being virtual, home, getting her job done, waiting until Nov 1....
While not going into detail, I know that everyone will want to know what is wrong with her. We have no answers to a specific diagnosis of anything yet, but she is having multi-system organ failure, and also had internal bleeding. While they have stopped the bleeding, she was on a ventilator for about 5 days, and is now off the ventilator, but does not communicate well for herself yet. I am asking for prayers and if you can spare any amount of money even $5 from all of us may pay for her rent next month.
