Help grieving Krauk family in time of mourning

Sadly we lost a bright, young member of our Nipomo community in an unexpected and tragic house fire on Tuesday, November 2nd, in the early hours of the morning.

 

Carly Krauk was a kind, beautiful lady who loved God and her family. She was the pride and joy of her mom Denice, and her dad Tim Krauk who are longtime residents of Nipomo, and who are very involved in our community. She loved her brothers Tim and Jack with all her heart. Carly was the granddaughter of Bud and Margie Shipley, also longtime Nipomo residents. There are also many other family members living here in Nipomo, and in Atascadero.  She was also the beloved granddaughter of Geno and Cherri Krauk who live in Atascadero, and her dad's sister and her family.  

 

Carly always said that her idea of happiness was to spend the day with the people she loved the most. Those people were her family and friends. She left both her immediate family, and her extended Nipomo family and friends much too soon.

 

Carly graduated from Nipomo High School last spring. Carly was involved in her church, New Life, Pismo Beach, where she volunteered at Sunday School. She adored kids and never passed up an opportunity to babysit. Carly worked as a waitress and hostess at Kay's Country Kitchen in Orcutt, where she had another extended family.

 

Carly had a bright future and was headed to Grand Canyon University in Phoenix in January to start the Spring Semester, and was really looking forward to becoming a GCU Lope in just two months.

 

Carly and her family are well known in our tight knit community for all of their involvement that makes our world a better place to live. This is a time of sadness and loss for both her family and our close community of Nipomo. I would like to ask that we, as a community, all come together and support Carly's family in this time of sadness and loss. In our own way, I am hoping we can ease some of the stress and financial concerns this family is now facing due to this unexpected accident and their loss of Carly.

 

Our community always comes together at such times and supports each other. At this time of such loss, I am asking that we support this family who has done so much for this community. I am confident we will step up and show her family our love and support at this difficult time.

 

We are thankful for any support individuals may be able to provide, and I would like to encourage everyone to keep the Krauk family in their prayers as they face this incomprehensible situation.
