The Janiyaliz Fernandez Fund

Hello everyone , my name is Jacelyn Rodriguez. My daughter Janiyaliz was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia high risk b-cell. I can not express or explain the feeling of being told that your child has cancer. She's only 2 1/2 years old. Janiyaliz is amazing, very funny and has a lot of character. She wins the hearts of anyone who meets her. This disease caught our family completley by surprise, shes never really been sick. It started with her having a cold and then a week later she was having difficullty walking. She would limp an want to be carried all the time. We made an appointment with her pediatrician and they drew blood work. We got an urgent call a few days later that the lab results came back and they weren't good. We where told to take her to the ER as soon as possible. They took me into a room at the hospital and explained to me my baby has leukemia. My world stopped, my heart dropped and I lost it. It's a day I will never forget. After a few days reality set in. I got so much information from doctors, to nurses etc. I was so overwhelmed everything was happening so fast. I still feel overwhemled but I know it's time to be strong and fight for my daughter because she and I together along with all of our family, friends and her supporters will help her beat this. Janiyaliz has just finished one week into her induction phase of her chemo therapy. It has been extremley hard watching her go through this and its just the beginning. This disease has taken a toll on us mentally, physically and financially.

On average the cost out of pocket per month will be over $1,200. This is with insurance. It's a very nerve wrecking thought on top of everything else that's going on with Janiyaliz. It's with a heavy heart and my pride to the side that we ask please for any donation and or support mentally or physically. It would greatly be appreciated.
