Hi everyone! I want to apologize in advance to Chad & Heather. ♥️ I was told this is not necessary. But I believe this is what family is for & everyone needs a little help sometimes even if they don’t ask for it.

Monday morning Chad was walking his dogs when they became startled & took his legs out from under him. Chad took a hard fall. When he came to, he was able to call Heather who came home & took him to Adena Pike. They discovered he had a broken neck & he was rushed to OSU Trauma Center. After further testing, he also has multiple broken ribs & a severe concussion. Chad does not want to undergo surgery on his neck, so they are hopeful they will allow him to come home tomorrow & return in 2 weeks to see if he has healed on his own & then they will determine where to go from there. Obviously, Chad will be off work for some time. (As minimal as they will let him) I do not have an update on how long. If you know Chad, he hates to sit still & to be told what he can & cannot do! Chad & Heather would do anything for anyone & for this community. Chad has donated so much time to our young guys in Waverly as a basketball coach for the past 5 years. The goal is to just take some unneeded stress off this wonderful family.
