My name is Zahraa of the Abo Mostafa family and I am seeking support for my family’s evacuation from Gaza. I am the eldest daughter at 19 years old, and my family consists of my mother Ghada (52), my younger brother Abdul Hadi (15), and my younger sister Hidaya (13). Our home was completely destroyed so we are now living in a tent in Nuseirat camp, where we struggle to meet our basic needs for survival.

Prior to the war, I was working as a private teacher. I managed to score a 99.6% high school average in 2023, earning a full scholarship to a local university. Since the war I lost my job, my university was bombed, and my professors and colleagues were killed. My future was destroyed but my dreams remain– I want to continue my studies. As for my siblings, my brother Abdul Hadi dreams of becoming a lawyer to ensure no child faces the same hardships he endured. My younger sister Hidaya dreams of a normal life free from danger, fear, and hunger. We all share this dream for a life beyond suffering, starvation, and the constant fear of losing body parts or loved ones.

The goal of our campaign is to raise $30,000 to support my family and provide a decent life for all of us. We will allocate $20,000 to cover the coordination costs for our departure from Gaza, ensuring that each member (my mother, my brother Abdul Hadi, my sister Hidaya, and myself) receives $5,000. $2,000 will be used to pay the rent for an apartment in Egypt for three months. The remaining $7,000 will be allocated to cover the costs of food, clothing, and other essential needs, as well as the initial registration fees for my siblings' schools and my university in Egypt. Your support will help us build a better future and alleviate the financial burdens we face.
