Help for my mom Tami Ouimette Bendle Med Expenses
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tara, and I am Tami's daughter. Tami is a wonderful, hard-working mother who has worked hard all her life and is now struggling to heal while making ends meet. Unfortunately, Tami has been diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, a rare and aggressive type of cancer that has a history of relapse. So far, she has completed six rounds of chemo, and it relapsed on the skin, causing hundreds of lesions. She is now completing the second round of chemo, and the hope was to get an Autologous Stem Cell transplant (using her own stem cells), but recently, we found out that she is not a good candidate for that type of stem cell transplant and will need an unrelated donor. If you are interested in being tested to see if you are a match, you can go to bethematch.org. There is a lot of unknown about her treatment at this point, and some of the treatments they are suggesting may not be covered by insurance. She will also have to be off work for a very long time with the stem cell transplant (at least six months to a year), and the costs are racking up! Can you please take the time to help in any way, either by seeing if you are a match, contributing to help with these unforeseen costs or simply sending positive vibes?
