Help Save Cookie from Cancer

Cookie is fed by a dedicated elderly woman in Weehawken who dedicates every night to feeding her feral cat colonies. She noticed something was wrong with his lip a few weeks ago, and was finally able to trap him with the help of some volunteers. Cookie has an oral tumor that makes it difficult for him to eat. He surprised us all when he accepted pets, which broke our hearts- this friendly boy with a tumor should never have been on the streets.

Our network of volunteers took him to an animal hospital where a veterinarian has agreed to vaccinate him, as well as remove the tumor. We were quoted $550 for vaccinations, sedation and surgical removal of the tumor, with an additional $180 to send the tumor to a lab, to be tested for cancer. With $730 already quoted to us and looking forward to possible post-op expenses, we are hoping to raise $1000 to provide Cookie the relief and care he deserves.
