The Ostrom Family

Donation protected
**UPDATE: Jason passed peacefully around 4:30 am on Friday, February 11th with his loving wife by his side. He is no longer suffering. Amanda, his children and the entire family at large are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this most difficult time. Please continue to pray for Jason's family and the difficult road they have ahead of them. **

On Monday, December 13th, Jason Ostrom went to the ER for severe abdominal pain. At the emergency room, a CT scan showed two tumors and major vein blockages. He has since then undergone many blood tests, scans, X-rays, MRIs, an endoscopy, as well as several attempted surgeries to obtain tissue from the tumors to biopsy. With the help of doctors at both St. Luke's and MD Anderson, it has now been determined that Jason has a rare type of sarcoma cancer called Leiomyosarcoma.

At this time, Jason has a very limited amount of time left to be with his family. Jason's four sons, Daniel (19), Alex (17), Emerson (6) and George (4), his daughter Alice (almost 2), and his wife, Amanda, would be so grateful for any amount of support as they strengthen as a family and prepare for what the future holds.

Please continue to pray for Jason, his family, and the all the medical teams involved in his diagnosis.
