N95 Mask Purchase for Lakeridge Health
Hello Everyone,
I am Paul Rayment, I live in Whitby, and am committed to helping our front line healthcare workers at Lakeridge Health have access to proper equipment during this COVID-19 pandemic. Both of my children were born at this hospital, so it hits close to home hearing about all of the wonderful people working there not having the necessary equipment to keep them and their patients safe.
There are approximately 5400 front line workers at Lakeridge Health and they are currently at risk of running out of masks which are used to help protect everyone during every patient interaction. This initiative, started by my coworker at Shawn at RE/MAX Jazz, is to supply N95 with CE masks to these workers from outside of the hospital’s supply chain. These masks are priced at $2USD with the minimum order of 7300. For every $22,000 Canadian we can raise 1 skid can be purchased and donated to the front line workers at Lakeridge Health. Any leftover funds will go directly to Lakeridge Health Foundation.
Please donate whatever you can to help keep the heroes fighting this pandemic safe. They deserve to feel safe while keeping us and our loved ones safe as well. Every dollar counts and of course please share!More information about Lakeridge Health Foundation: Lakeridge Health Foundation raises funds and awareness for Lakeridge Health, one of the largest community hospital systems in Ontario, through signature events, community initiatives, and generous donations from individuals and organizations. The Foundation supports two of the five Durham Region hospital sites - Oshawa and Whitby. Funds are granted to the Hospitals to purchase equipment, improve or renovate space and create educational and research opportunities at Lakeridge Health.
