The Wilcox Family

I am hoping we can come together to raise money for a wonderful family! They don't want to ask for help, but they could use our help right now, and I did receive their permission before doing this. Let’s show them how much we care about their entire family!

This is their story:

The Wilcox family purchased a new home on July 25, 2022. On July 28, Brandon shattered his foot and was forced to miss work for a while. J.J., their oldest son, had been experiencing a lot of pain and had a doctor’s appointment at 9:00 a.m. on August 2, 2022. By 12:00 of that same day, the doctors informed J.J. that he had multiple tumors that must be removed immediately. J.J.’s initial surgery took place on August 8, 2022. The family was blessed to have many people reach out to help them, and this sustained their finances for a short time. In January of 2023, J.J. required another surgery on his brain. Though she would do it all again without hesitation, Marla needed to miss six weeks of work to care for him. The combination of medical bills and missing work for continued doctor appointments at Duke have put the family in a financial bind. Throughout this time of hardship, the family has maintained positive attitudes and a steadfast faith that God will heal J.J. and sustain them financially.

If you are not able to financially bless this family, please just pray for J.J.’s complete healing. This is definitely the most important thing to the whole family.
