Help Save Our Kitty!

UPDATE 5/16/23:
Sorry for the delay with updating with the mothers day weekend I was VERY busy. Skelly hung out at the vets on Friday last week while I was at work and upon monitoring it was determined he is improving (has completely stopped being in pain and has been urinating normally since completing his antibiotics!) he still has a follow up on Monday that will have the procedure discussed but as of right now it is NO LONGER an emergency to get it done ASAP but is still highly recommended to get it done when we can since he still has a 20-30% chance of blocking again without the procedure.
Hi! We are trying to fundraise to help save our 1 year old kitty, Skelly. Last week he went downhill fast we took him in to the vet and he was diagnosed with a urethra blockage. We did the $1500 procedure to clear the blockage and he spent 2 nights at the vet with a catheter. Ideally the vet would have sent him to the emergency vet for the weekend for observation but due to our inability to afford that he was discharged for us to observe over the weekend with 3 medications, Rx food, and the warning he has a high chance of the blockage reoccurring. He did well over the weekend but is now showing the same signs as before.this time the procedure is a Urethra widening that cost $2500-$3000.
I’m a low income single mom and this has put us in a position of possible euthanasia as we have to consider his quality of life if we cannot do this procedure. We have tried for CareCredit and did not qualify.
We rescued him last June after he was dumped and he quickly became my oldest daughters best friend. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Anything left over will go towards his neuter and Rx diet to get us started!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!!
