Nadira and her family

On January 22, 2024, we lost James Moore, a devoted father, loving husband, and a true friend. Tragically, James passed away in his sleep due to a rare heart condition. He is survived by his wife, Nadira, and two children - his son Liam and stepdaughter Natalie. James's love for his family knew no bounds, particularly in his care for Liam, who was born with Down Syndrome. In pursuit of better educational and care opportunities for Liam, the family had recently relocated from Connecticut to Austin, Texas.

James was the family's rock, working tirelessly to support them. Despite his deteriorating heart condition, he persevered to provide for their needs. Nadira, deeply committed to caring for both her husband and son, was unable to work outside the home. Natalie, showing remarkable dedication, took a year off college to assist with the family's caregiving needs.

With James's untimely passing, the family faces immense challenges, both financially and emotionally. They currently reside in an apartment in Austin and are confronted with mounting expenses. Nadira's family, residing in Guyana, South America, are unable to offer immediate support.
