Help Naema to protect her family and leave Gaza

Hello,I'm Naema, the owner of MEOW cat Cafe which was established in Gaza one year ago, before the war ,and was destroyed and completely demolished at the 2nd month of the war.

Here is my story :

I turned 53 in July, I worked for more than 25 years in international organizations at humanitarian projects and raised my 3 children with a good life till they are grown up, 2 of them graduated from university and the third one couldnt make it because of the war of 7th' October 2023 which has started and didnt finish yet. I used the money I gained through my jobs to build a lovely house full of good furniture and warm memories, the house is destroyed several times in the war, its the second time the house is destroyed as it was destroyed earlier in war 2008 and I rebuilt it. At age 50 I had a disease which cant be treated here in Gaza, affected my nervous system and disabled me from having office work again, so I decided to have my own project which created income for my family. I established it in Gaza which considered strange as Gaza is under blockade and attack all the time, but I didnt pay attention to that and wanted to make our people happy as I used to do all my life. The project was successfull, full of love and joy, creating happiness and positive energy specially for children. I established the Cafe in August 2023 and it was destroyed in Nov.2023 .The MEOW Cat Cafe was bombed and destroyed as every thing beautifull in Gaza. I lost the Cafe and all my savings and still have the debts to pay off to my friends(20000 USD). I was forced with my family to evacuate from Gaza city to Rafah city as the Israeli told us that its a safe area, but it isnt as they moved their military operation to Rafah and started bombing every where, all nights are terrifying and we spend all night up, one night my best friend who evacuated from Gaza to Rafah was killed with her family. They invaded Rafah and destroyed it completely. I moved with my family and was displaced 3 times, one in Khanyounis in tje tents and 2 times in Deir Albalah,I rented an uncompleted house without doors or windows and stayed in it till today. We escaped from Gaza to Rafah to Khanyounis and Deiralbalah to save our lives and not experience what happened in Gaza city for the people who stayed and are syarving.

I realized that there is no place is safe here and want to secure my family in a safe place out side Gaza strip, raised fund to srnd them to Egypt, but the boarder is closed now. Once its open , my family will move to Egypt and re establish the MEOW Cat Cafe again.

Many scenarios are told about what can happen to us, or where they will send us.

I started go fund me asking for something else that I had better optimistic plan considering staying in Gaza and rebuilding the Cafe and my house again, but if you follow Gaza news you will see that the situation is getting worse and war is getting harder and no view for tomorrow.

Please help me take my family out of Gaza and afterwards,if we still alive I promise to keep you updated about my future plans considering having a Cat Cafe in a safe place.

My life was happy and stable till the war happened and destroyed our lives,buildings,dreams,universities and future became un- clear.

Life has priorities and my priority for today to safe my family and get them out of Gaza as urgent as possible and secure their lives and way of living once they settele in another place.

This picture of my family is at the graduation of my daughter, hope the happy times will come again knowing that the university is destroyed too.

And this is Simba, his family left him with me and travelled to Jordan at month 2 of the war, now I'm his mother and he is so attached to me, I will take him with me so I will not broke his heart twice

The story of the CAFÉ became a trend all over the world, journalists from most countries and newsletters wrote and talked about the CAFÉ because it was weird that Gaza who is under aggressive attacks all the time can enjoy a place which make its people happy.

مرحبا انا نعيمة ,من مدينة غزة ...مدينة المحبة والسلام وكذلك الحرب.

أنشأت في مدينة غزة الجميلة أول كافيه لمحبي القطط في فلسطين ,مكان اجتمعت فيه كل صفات الجمال والأمان والحب !

ذكرياتي الجميلة فيه لم تطول فقد دمرت الحرب الحالية مشروعي بالكامل وحولته الى كومة من الركام وقتلت كل شيئ جميل في داخلي ...

ولكن الأمل دائما يكبر لدي باستعادة رأس مالي وسداد ديوني والتحضير لافتتاح الكافيه من جديد في حال انتهت الحرب !

ولكن هذه الحرب المدمرة مازالت قائمة حتى تاريخ اليوم , وباتت تشكل خطراً حقيقياً على حياتي وحياة عائلتي .

قمت بالإخلاء داخل مدينة غزة إلى أن انتهى بنا الأمر في جنوب قطاع غزة (مدينة

رفح) , ولكن للأسف رفح أيضاً ليست اًمنة ! ودخول الحرب اليها بات وشيكاً.
