Cheryl Green kick Crohn's to the curb!

Hello my name is Kendall and I am here to advocate, and ask for some help to support my dear friend, Cheryl who has been unable to work or leave the hospital for many months due to her untypical severe case of Crohns Disease. Lets back up a bit before I just boldly ask you to reach in your pockets and write a check.
Cheryl and I met years back when working as CNA's (Certified Nursing Aides) at a rehabilitation facility in Howell. We became fast friends as we tag teamed countless showers for patients, changed gowns, made beds, wiped the worst of butts, got patients to therapy, skipped breaks, worked overtime and learned quickly to laugh with them about whatever little life they had left to laugh over.
I can remember the first time we were doing a bed bath and she looked at me, turned white as a ghost and excused herself to use the bathroom. Then later in the day, the second time. Then a third. Eventually this became the norm for her. Through pain and embarrassment, she returned to every patient room with grace and thoughtfulness until everyone was comfortable. Often times going above and beyond, all while putting her own suffering aside.
Speaking of suffering did you know that with Crohn's Disease symptoms include weight gain, inflamed digestive tract, gynecological issues, iron deficiency, diarrhea, abdominal pain, swollen joints, rectal bleeding, ulcers, depression and..... well lets just say the list goes on for a long while! Cheryl has not only endured all of these symptoms but since 2008 she has had multiple procedures and obstacles including
• bowel resection removing 18" of intestine
• failed Humera; which compromised her immune system and made her Crohns flareups worse
• Multiple hospital stays from pain and inflammation
• Multiple drug trials, including Skyrezi
• More bowel resection
• An Ostomy bag put in place for a year
• Removal of the Ostomy bag after much irritation and infections
• Unbearable pain on a daily basis
• Reinsertion of Ostomy bag (man this thing will not go away)
• Multiple painful abscesses
• Surgeons have deemed it impossible to drain or remove the abscessed due to their size and placement
• NG tube placement since she couldn't eat
• Placed on Oxygen
• Picc (peripherally inserted central catheter) placed for daily IV antibiotics
Cheryls body has endured so much trauma that she is unable to continue working as a CNA for Hospice patients at this time. She still has a home to maintain and her pups to provide for. Her parents, Brian and Jacob have provided so much wonderful emotional support, but that doesn’t help with the hospital bills and rent payments coming in. This is why I am asking that you consider providing some much-needed temporary financial support. I know that in time with Gods grace she will make a full recovery, and she will be back to caring for patients instead of someone caring for her. At this time though, I am asking that you please consider supporting someone who has taken care of and changed the lives of so many people. Some of you have seen her in action and worked with her, some of you have let her care for your parents as they passed on, and some of you are family. Whoever you are, and however she has touched your life please take a moment to help out a woman who is fighting for rehabilitation in her life for the purpose of giving a quality of life to others.
Thank you for listening and thank you for anything you are able to contribute.
We love you Cheryl and cannot wait to see some of this burden taken off of you.
