Nairobi Girls to play football in Sweden
Donation protected
RYSA is a community started, based and run organization in a slum area in the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya. It uses football to provide opportunities for positive community impact by offering a platform for personal and collective growth.
The idea is simple; playing football attracts youth and to be allowed to participate you need to complete your education and participate in community activities such as collecting garbage and plant trees. You need to be good behaved and stay out of “trouble”. In return you can participate in training but also be part of a larger community.
So far RYSA has been successful in attracting boys. Two times before RYSA, with support of RYSA Marafiki (marafiki: friends), has managed to go to the Gothia Cup in Sweden.
Now it is time for the Girls!
Girls are either “forgotten” or expected to take care of the home - with a vision of going to Gothia - girls are given a life changing experience and a vision of a better life possible which will inspire others.
We need your support!
Funding is of course key. Funding companies/corporations can get visibility in various ways. But there are other ways as well, spread the word, refer us to others that might be in position to support etc. Follow us on social media, share our appeals, “like” our postings.
Thank you for your support!
