Na'Kia Crawford Memorial Fund

On June 14, 2020, Na'Kia "KiKi" Crawford was shot and killed by a man in a black sports car, after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds to her person during a quick errand out with her grandmother. The unknown driver of the black car fled the scene and is still on the run as of the time of this post. Na’Kia, who had just graduated from North High School in Akron, OH, was looking forward to continuing her studies in computer engineering at Central State University, where she was offered an academic scholarship. This fund is established to cover funeral and burial expenses, mental and grief counseling, lodging and travel for all court proceedings, endowing a private scholarship in Ms. Crawford’s memory, and to assist our family in the days to come as we continue to seek justice for Na’Kia. From the bottom of our hearts my family thanks each of you who have reached out. While we are not able to respond to each expression of love at this time, please know that we love and appreciate each and every one of you. Our hearts are overwhelmed!
