Nala & The Abandoned Dogs…

UPDATE: YOU DID IT!! Because of you, £3K of this is going towards Nala finding a forever home in UK! AND approx £9,000 towards Jenny and her 5 puppies too! This includes their foster care, vet care, food, vaccinations, neutering and travel. We've done it guys.

HOW IT STARTED: NALA'S STORY:

We found Nala as a tiny puppy dumped at the side of the road, in a pile of trash, alone in Indonesia. It's not uncommon for this to happen in Indonesia, due to the cost of neutering dogs and the vast amount of stray animals, people just can't afford to look after them and resort to dumping them in areas they are likely to be rescued. Nala we found, took in and have been paying for her treatments and care. Our aim is to get her adopted in 4 weeks, or she has no-where to go, as we're here on holiday and have to go home soon.

Our main aim is to create a fundraising pot where we can afford to pay for boarding, fosters, sterilisation and any other vet bills to help give Nala a home until she gets a forever one, the dog shelters are full with animals trying to find homes and without this, we hate to think she'll be back out on the streets, and our goal is to not let that happen.

Alongside Nala, we have been working with the dog shelter here. Recently the government have passed a law to capture all street dogs, and within 2 week, kill them all. They're doing this to try and keep disease low and numbers down without realising that vaccines and sterilisation is what needs to be funded, or the cycle will simply start again.
