Hi! My name is Ashley Allegretto. I am the daughter of Nancy Penton. I love my mom and John with my whole heart. Things are starting to get rough for them!

When you think about a love story there isn’t one stronger than the love story between John and Nancy Penton. Although, they found each other later in life their story was strong. Nancy found herself leaving for the first time ever her home state of Pennsylvania to be in Mississippi with her beloved husband. The honeymoon phase was quickly halted when John found himself ill and not feeling well leading to a diagnosis of a rare form of cancer, Lymph Node Neuroendocrine Cancer in November of 2017.

Since the terrible diagnosis of cancer in 2017, John has found himself in and out of doctor’s offices, testing facilities, cancer treatments and countless endless stays in a hospital bed. All while being unable to work and to provide financial support for not only himself but his new wife Nancy but Nancy has always been right there along his side to never leave it.

Recently, John has found himself back in the hospital for another stay in the ICU a two hr hike from their home in Columbia, Mississippi. Admitted late last weekend due to intense pain and vomiting blood. His blood work is painful to swallow as his ammonia levels are dangerously high. He is continuing his fight with three procedures in the last few days to stop internal bleeding. This time Nancy is unable to stay with him at the hospital and only has a few days at the Hope Lodge.

We hope that you might consider donating even the smallest amount you have to help my dear family. The money raise will help provide financial assistance to cover medical expenses, expensive medicines and treatments, travel expenses, food expenses an ultimately an untimely funeral. Should you wish to consider donating something more personal, please feel free to reach out to Nancy’s children directly for a mailing address.

Most recent struggles have prompted the immediate family to feel the overwhelming need to help and we find ourselves here asking for your help.

As always, please continue to pray. Nancy is strong but this might be the hardest things she has ever done in her life.

He has a bleeding ulcer and a kidney stone and his amonia levels are high so his liver isn’t processing things properly which leads to confusion and dilerium. This is their newest situation. John has been moved to ICU.
Right now, she needs us the most, Even $1 helps them! This money goes directly to my mother. She is just too wrapped up in being by his side…..
If you cannot donate, please keep them in your prayers.
