Please consider supporting Nanci Yanes

Hello, my name is Lisa Pederson and I am raising funds for my dear friend and colleague, Nanci Yanes. In late October, Nanci had a fall that resulted in 3 separate fractures of her leg. She had to have surgery and cannot weight bare for 6-8 weeks; she will hopefully be back to walking in 3 months - a total of 4 months off from work. She has been recovering in a Transitional Care Center for the last 4 weeks (October 27th -present). What makes matters worse, her husband is currently out of the country caring for a family member. Of course, all of this has made finances a difficult burden.

Nanci has been a medical interpreter and RN at Regions Hospital for over 30 years. She has given so much of herself to the Deaf community, the medical staff at Regions, and as a mentor to me. I am asking you to please consider giving back to Nanci during not only a very challenging time but also during this holiday season.
