Nancy and Jim Morgan-Pay it forward
When the words "caring person" are mentioned, we immediately think of Nancy Morgan. It's really quite simple-no matter what the converastion, it's never about her, it's always about you-and how you're doing.
Nancy is a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, teacher and friend.
Every family has problems. Recently the bad has turned worse for Nancy and her family.
While still traveling three weeks a month to New York City for chemo treatments, Nancy fell and shattered the bone in her left leg. She was enjoying a wonderful day at "Cruisin into Waterville" when the incident occured.
There has never been a more positive person than Nancy. Months of chemo and many miles traveled to and from New York City have not dampened her spirit. She has been and continues to be courageous and humble. Now she and her family are really being put to the test. Nancy can not put any weight on her left leg for 2-3 months and will be unable to return to work at Memorial Park School for a few months. She will miss her students and they will certainly miss her.
Jim, her loving husband, will continue to care for her and take her to New York until her treatments are complete. It's certainly not easy for him and their grown children Kellan, Brett and Kate. They all share a strong faith and an optimistic spirit. Through this, Nancy has a smile on her face and still remains more concerned about others than herself and is an inspiration to everyone that knows her.
Nancy and Jim are the first to ask "what can we do to help?" when someone else is suffering or in need. Now it's our turn as a community to "pay it forward" and help Nancy with her considerable medical related expenses.
Thank you,
