Hello, my name is Josh. I am Nancy’s son and Todd’s stepson. For the past few months, Todd has been experiencing lower pain. A huge sore was discovered, and after multiple doctor visits, Todd was referred to a surgeon. It was found that Todd must undergo reconstructive surgery that will leave him bedridden for several weeks in the hospital. A surgery date was pending due to a lack of beds in the hospital; during this time, Todd’s health declined rapidly, and he became very ill. Todd was sent to a plastic surgeon, informing both Mom and Todd that the wound was much larger, and Todd now will require a colostomy bag. Todd was sent to the ER by the surgeon due to his decline in health. Todd has been diagnosed with a bladder infection and bone infection, and the wound has exposed his tailbone. Todd must remain in the hospital for several weeks for multiple procedures to get well. Mom has been driving to and from the hospital nearly every day from Indianola and taking Todd’s daughters, Mylee and Makayla, to see their dad while ensuring they still get to school and activities they need to attend. If you know my mother, she will do anything for anyone and is a beautiful person. I am asking to help her and Todd with medical bills, groceries, gas money, and essentials for the girls as Todd regains his health and strength.
