Nancy Colburn's Air Ambulance Costs

On February 9th Nancy Colburn, wife of S.E. WI Short Track Hall of Famer Dick Colburn, experienced a fall while on a trip with family in Mexico.  This fall resulted in serious medical issues which need to be addressed promptly and safely within the care of Doctors and Hospitals back home in the United States.  

While the Colburn's Medical Insurance will cover the surgeries and the care needed back here on home land, it however will not cover the Air Ambulance Flight that was needed to safely and quickly expedite Nancy back to U.S. care. With costs already exceeding $25,000 for her personal medical transportation to the United States, this cost will be an un-needed burden to both Nancy and Dick- whom so often have given their support and time to help others.

Upon her return to the United States, it is certain that Nancy will have a long healing period and additional expenses are bound to pile up.  Any and all help that you would be able to afford would be of great help during this unexpected emergency and Nancy and Dick will be most overwhelmed with the show of support from the racing community, their freinds and family.
