Nancy Gillett, 73 years old, was mother to Mike Arnett and Lara Arnett-Wickliff. Grandmother to Ryan Arnett, Rachel Arnett, and Zachary Brown. Great grandmother to Kennedy Bell Shaffer-Arnett. Also a friend to so many people. She was a lively and outgoing woman. A hair dresser for over 40 years and her impact on the community was not small. All of her friends and family loved and cared about Nancy immensely.
On February 26th Nancy came up missing and no one had any idea where she was. Countless people were searching for over a week everywhere they could possibly think. A state wide silver alert was put in place in hopes to find her. Her friends and family never gave up hope. Then on March 6th her car was found in a retention pond in Westfield and unfortunately she was in the car and had passed. While everyone was devistated about the situation, they were all thankful that she was found and the worrying about wondering where she was and what had happened to her was over.
Nancy's family wants to have a memorial service for her. Her request was that she wanted to be cremated and placed next to her grandson Zach. Any donations would be greatly appriciated towards funeral expenses. Anything helps, no amount is too small. Thank you.
