Nancy Nash Segal Memorial Little Free Library

This Christmas marks the 5 year mark of Nancy's passing. As I thought about how to memorialize this milestone, I kept coming back to what could I do to continue to spread the Nancy spirit? She had a deep passion for helping others and more than anything loved reading to her students. And so, the idea of the Nancy Nash Segal Memorial Little Free Library was born. We will be constructing a Little Free Library to be placed in the neighborhood surrounding A.M. Davis Elementary School, one of the libraries Nancy worked in, and filling it with books in both English and Spanish to help increase access to books for these students. Our goal is to raise enough money to build the library and stock it with books for at least one year. Eventually, little free libraries aim to be self-sustaining, but it can take a little time to get them going. Thank you for helping me keep Nancy's spirit alive.
Thanks to the outpour of love and support, we have decided to up our goal to be able to provide even more books!
