Nancy Needs Your Help for Surgery Expenses

My name is Nancy. I’m a 44-year-old mother of 3 kids. The reason for this GoFundMe is to raise money for a surgery I need to have done. I have a 5.5 cm dermoid cyst on my left ovary and a 2.4 cm complex cyst on my right ovary. I was going to wait until I had the money plus PTO from work, which I just now got in the beginning of April. But it’s been a struggle to come up with the money.

I went to the doctor, and they recommend surgery now due to the size of the cyst. They stated that due to its size, I can have complications like an ovarian torsion where my ovaries and fallopian tube can twist, which can cut off blood flow and cause more complications. I do have insurance, but I have a $3,000 deductible. Once met, I’m responsible for 30%. My out-of-pocket is $7,300. The cost of surgery is $4,200 plus the hospital, which I still don’t know what that will cost.
