Nancy Norton medical and travel expenses

Hey friends. My cousin, Nancy Norton, is in need of some financial help for her medical and travel expenses that are quickly approaching. She has agreed to allow me to create this account to help raise funds to get her much needed help in Ohio at the Cleveland Clinic Pericardical Center. Nancy has been hospitalized four times this past year after discovering, during a routine heart cath, that she had a congenital deformity- Myocardial Bridge. A portion of her LAD was tunneling under the muscle instead of sitting on top of the heart. She had to travel to Georgia in March of ‘23 to have a corrective surgery. There she had to fund a week long stay, since no cardiologists in Montgomery could perform the surgery. During the recovery process she developed post surgical pericarditis. The doctors have tried, unsuccessfully, three different treatment plans to correct this problem, as she’s in pain all the time and has no quality of life. Up until the recently, Nancy has spent her entire adult life working in the health care field, taking care of others. Her declining health over the last two years has forced her to go on disability. This is where I need your help.

On November 1, Nancy and her husband Tom, will travel to Cleveland, Ohio to see an expert at the Cleveland Clinic Pericardial Center. They anticipate a couple of nights in a hotel in Cleveland. She will meet with Dr. Klein on November 2nd and undergo several tests all day long. The following day she will go back to see the doctor. We’re anticipating between hotel stays, gas, food and co pays that her expenses will be about $2,000. So I’m asking, please prayerfully consider donating to my precious cousin who we love so dearly. She’s my mom’s very first niece and has always been the best big cousin. If you can help our family out, to help make this trip possible to restore her quality of life, we would be so grateful.
