As many of you know I have been dealing with cancer since June 2016 when I was 1st diagnosed with both breast and small cell lung cancer. After doing 3 months of radiation and chemo for the lung and it ending successfully the same week I found out I also had brain cancer as well as small cell from the lung cancer metted to my jaw bone and that will now be what will end my life. I was given 4-6 weeks 3 weeks ago. It may or may not be a quick and painless process. It is all yet to be seen how this will all play out.
My husband has been seasonally (winter) laid off as he is every year and with that comes a threat of us losing medical insurance if it exceeds the time allowed per year as it often does of continued coverage without a pay in expense to us which is very expensive. We have already had many additional expenses as a result of my cancer treatment ie: copays of all drs appointments, (I have been to many dif types of drs!) images, tests, perscriptions, along with my inability to continue my home sales job, etc. Bob is also a type1 diabetic and we have year round expenses for his care and scripts as well.
We do not have any life insurance and yes that is our own fault and not yours. I would like to ask that if you can still find it in your hearts to help us in any way possible thatit would be greatly appreciated for my final arrangements costs.
We are so very thankful to those who have blessed us in the past. Most of the campaign funds (closed that page in August) that my sister in law started for us was already used on the many test and dr visit co-pays and patient responsbility expenses we have had since June. We just got the bill 11,000 for the biopsy on the mass in my jaw...Insurance covered most of it, but we still have a chuck we owe on that as well.
