Nancy Wall

Nancy has been in the hospital since March 27th. Nancy was hospitalized in the ICU with pneumonia and was placed on a ventilator. She is doing better and has been moved to a Rehab hospital for long-term care, but still has pneumonia. She is working with therapists to get off of the ventilator for hours at a time. She has started working with a voicebox so communication will get better. The recovery is going to take a long time. This has put her out of work, and as you can imagine the bills are piling up.

Nancy has worked at Kids Ahead Afterschool Program since its creation in 1994. For the last few years, she has worked with the 5th-grade classes during homework. With her creative ideas, she creates wonderful art projects for the kids to do and works closely with all of the children in unique art experiences. The kids love spending time with Mrs. Wall.

Nancy became a widow in 2011. She and Tom loved shagging to beach music. She still enjoys listening to beach music in Myrtle Beach, playing bunco and bowling with friends. Nancy is also an active member of the First Moravian Church of Greensboro and loves spending time worshipping with friends. We want Nancy to get back to doing all of these wonderful things without the burden of mounting medical bills.
