Nancy’s Health Maintenance

Hi.

Most of you have heard by now that our beloved Nancy suffered a massive stroke on September 22, 2023. She was taken from Santa Rosa Memorial in the middle of the night to CPMC Davies in San Francisco. She stayed in the ICU until she was stabled enough to be transferred back to Santa Rosa (Park View Post Acute Care) and has been there for the past month. She is paralyzed on her left side but has worked very hard and has shown tremendous improvement over the last few weeks. She’s waiting for an opening (any day now) to be transported to Vallejo for a two week aggressive rehabilitation. After completion, she will get to go home and continue to heal - she has a long road to recovery and that’s where we all come in at.

Ramps and railings will need to be installed before she gets home. Lots of alterations will be needed, her vehicle, bathroom, bed, etc. Her loving family will do the best they can to make her life comfortable as can be. They appreciate all the love and support she has received thus far. Once alterations are complete, anything left over will go towards her medical bills. Thanks in advance.
