Nanine's Expenses for Ovarian Cancer Diagnosis
Donation protected
On November 29th, Nanine was taken to the emergency room due to difficulty breathing. She was found to have fluid in her lungs and was admitted to the hospital. After several tests, she has been diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. As you can imagine this news has devastated her and her family. While there are still more tests to be done to determine what treatments/surgeries might be available to her, we wanted to try to jump in and get ahead of what we know is likely to add a lot of financial strain to an already stressful situation.
Nanine has moved in with her daughter Anna, so that she can help look after her and also spend lots of quality time with her. Our hope is to allow her family to focus on making the most of their time together, rather than on the stresses that can often come with this type of diagnosis. Whether that is through having meals/groceries delivered, paying medical bills, or even lost wages should someone need to be with Nanine around the clock.
Under this crushing diagnosis, Nanine remains hopeful and wants to pursue as many treatment options as are available to her.
We will continue to post updates here as we learn more. Thank you for anything you can offer to lift this beautiful family up right now.
