Naomh Olaf GAA Boys 2011- Coaches 1000km Challenge

Donation protected
Hi all,
In this time of lock down due to the Corna Virus Pandemic, all sporting activity up in Naomh Olaf GAA club has been suspended.  The coaches of the U9 ( 2011) Boys Team decided to try and raise money for charity by running 1000 km  in the month of May.

Barnardos have recently launched a Covid 19 appeal for funding. Most of the funds collected from our running challenge  will go to support Barnardos who are under extreme pressure in this current crisis.  Currently, 1,580 families require critical and intensive support with more than 600 waiting for help.

GAA underage sports allows us, as coaches, to see happy children playing a sport they love. All children deserve to be happy and we hope that we can raise some funds for this very worthy cause.

A small portion of the funds collected will enable us  to buy a hoodie or tracksuit top for each of our boys in the group which will serve as an encouragement to keep practicing their skills. It's difficult for all the boys to be away from each other for so long, but we just wanted to say that the coaches are still thinking of them and wishing them the best.
We'll all be back on the pitch soon!

Give what you can if possible. It would be greatly appreciated.

Yours Sincerely,
Dermot, Terence, Paul,  Ronan, John-Hugh & Nik
