Napoleon Hornbuckle Junior Golf Scholarship Fund
Donation protected
Napoleon Hornbuckle was an accomplished business executive and avid golfer. He was an advocate for spreading the game of golf to young minority men and women. Napoleon also served on the Board of Directors for National Minority Junior Golf Association, now known as the Bill Dickey Scholarship Association. During Napoleon’s lifetime, he devoted significant time and effort to ensure that the Bill Dickey Scholarship Association reached its fundraising goals. Napoleon passed away in Atlanta, GA on July 6, 2022. The family thought it would be fitting to start a scholarship in his honor. The Napoleon Hornbuckle Junior Golf Scholarship fund will provide financial assistance to minority men and women seeking college-level education. The family requests everyone, even those who didn’t know Napoleon, to donate to the Inaugural Napoleon Hornbuckle Junior Golf Scholarship Fund in lieu of flowers.
*A nonprofit will soon be established in his namesake and any funds collected here will be transferred to the nonprofit organization so that scholarships can be gifted to recipients.
