Narcan Nate Funding

The funds raised will be used to purchase supplies and equipment to allow for further distribution of materials that allow for the promotion of Nate’s movement. Nate is a public figure who works through a local not-for-profit organization. He educates about treatment that decreases rates of fatalities in Southern California. Nate has provided training to countless individuals and organizations, Nate provides education around different legislations and policies as well.

 

The movement came about when Nathan Smiddy first began hosting training almost 3 years ago. As time went by the movement became more popular as Nathan's following and outreach grew. Nathan has a passion for harm reduction that stem from his own personal experience. 

 

The promotion of Nate’s movement will allow for further funding from different sources and organizations. The increased funding will help create movement towards a more widespread distribution program of harm reduction resources.
