Narrator Dawn Harvey needs our help

Thurs Dec 1 should have been joyous for our intrepid Canadian narrator sister, Dawn Harvey: She arrived to sublet my Maui condo the night before and was headed to the airport to pick up her furry companion, Dani. After months of preparation, delays, and pet quarantine requirements, a serious fall in the parking lot changed everything. Her elbow was catastrophically broken, neck knocked out of alignment, requiring surgery and physical therapy for several months (which her American health ins policy refused to cover, forcing a hasty retreat to Canada for care). This ordeal has sapped her savings and destroyed the financial base she so meticulously saved. She's back in Canada and post-op, but without a secure home base from which to work, and driving to a rented booth is hampered by the arm in a sling. Amazingly, she has set up a makeshift space to continue recording, and she remains in high spirits.
