Nas needs emergency surgery

Hi, my name is Jasmin Alexandria Saunders and I am fundraising to help cover for my sweet pup, Nas's emergency surgery to remove his spleen. I've always taken great pride in caring for Nas, as he is my everything. So on Wednesday (10/14/21), I took Nas into the vet, as I was worried about his stomach having recently become very bloated. I quickly discovered that his bloating was actually a large mass on his spleen that needs to be removed-- so that he may continue to be by my side for more years to come!

Nas is the sweetest boy ever, his lively loving spirit brightens up everyone's day. He came into my life during a very turbulent time and provided me with a sense of importance, love and total acceptance that I needed. He's been the best impulsive decision I could've made and while many urged me to give him away because I was struggling art student, I made a commitment with my whole heart that I would never give-up on him.

He's been by my side for a 11 years now-- moving with me from city to city (Savannah, GA, to Los Angeles, to Cambridge, MA and eventually back in Los Angeles). A real trooper and the great companion. Nas has been instrumental in my healing process, as I was diagnosed with PTSD after the tragic loss of both my parents. He is my protector and my comfort.

I am currently asking for family, friends, compassionate pet-lovers to donate funds toward getting the splenectomy surgery he needs, and return home a happy and healthy boy.
