NASCA - NT COMMUNITY WORK

As a proud Bidjara woman & a mum, raising 2 proud, confident & prideful Bidjara/Barunggam boys. I have been give an amazing opportunity with NASCA to volunteer in the NT this coming May. This program allows you to engage directly with communities, the people, the children, the schools & the land.

Volunteering offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while also fostering personal growth. Engaging with diverse communities will allow myself to gain new perspectives, develop empathy, and enhance my skills. The experience can be transformative, not only helping those in need but also instilling a sense of purpose and fulfillment within me. It’s an opportunity to contribute to causes I care about, build connections, and create a positive impact in the world, ultimately enriching my own life in the process.

In order to participate in this program and future ones I am needing to raise these fund to give back/donate directly to NASCA & the community. My aim is $3K.

Your donation could provide:

* In-class and academic support for a young person struggling at school

* Cultural activities so a young person can connect to Culture and Mob

* Healthy meals and transport to and from school 

* One-to-one mentoring for a young person going through a tough time

I have so much love for these smaller communities & the beautiful kids.

I cannot wait to leave with a new perspective on life, educated, empowered & my heart as full as ever. Feeling blessed to be part of the oldest continuing culture in the world. ❤️
