Nashy, and for countless others on their cancer journey
Recently, our club was hit with devastating news — senior player Lewys Nash has been diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma.
Known to many as “Nashy,” Lewys has been a huge part of our team for the past two seasons. His impact has gone far beyond the pitch — he's a leader, a motivator, and someone deeply respected by both players and coaches alike. At just 28, Nashy is not only a valued teammate, but also a loving partner, son, friend, and most importantly, a proud dad.
As he begins treatment in the coming months, we want to stand beside him and his family in the way he has always supported us — with strength, unity, and heart.
To show our support, the team is taking on the Bryn Meadows Caerphilly 10K on Sunday, 11th May 2025, aiming to raise £800 for Velindre Cancer Centre — a place that provides exceptional care and support to cancer patients and their families.
Cancer touches us all in some way, and Velindre is a vital pillar in our community. Every donation, big or small, will help make a difference — not just for Nashy, but for countless others on their cancer journey.
Please give what you can, share this page, and help us run with purpose.
